The Stevenson Experience
O Brother Where Art Thou? (On stage, beside me)
Two-time Nominee Best Comedy Show Perth FRINGE WORLD
Award-winning identical twin musical comedy duo The Stevenson Experience are back with a brand-new show chock full of everything you’d expect from the Stevos. Big laughs, hilarious songs, razor sharp banter, gentle (perhaps) ribbing and good natured (extremely personal) rivalry.
Since they were last here Benjamin wrote multiple international bestsellers and is adapting them for HBO. James also did some cool stuff. But, whatever – he doesn’t like to brag.
As seen on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow, Network 10 & Channel 7.
USA Today bestseller – over one million copies of Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone sold!
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Award winning identical twin musical duo The Stevenson Experience deliver hilarious songs mixed with sibling rivalry and stand-up, in shows that have seen them conquer sell-out seasons from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Performing together for over 20 years, they have featured on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival All Stars Supershow (ABC), Comedy Up Late (ABC), aired their 1-hour comedy special on Channel 10, performed at the prestigious invite-only Just For Laughs festival at the Sydney Opera House, and been nominated for multiple Best Comedy awards.
Off stage, Benjamin Stevenson is the author of the globally popular novel, Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone, and the subsequent series. A USA Today bestseller, the book is currently under adaptation with HBO after a heated Hollywood auction. Benjamin has also worked with Broadway Video (company behind Saturday Night Live) on scripts for an upcoming project.
Collectively, they’ve sold over a million books worldwide. Benjamin has sold 999,999 of them, and James sells a few for cash if you ask him after a gig.
And yes, they are really identical twin brothers. No holograms.
